We know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of society but the people themselves, and if any think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with wholesome discretion, we believe the remedy is not to take powers from them, but to inform discretion by education.

We believe there can be NO compromise on the matter of the segregation of the Races.
